00:00 Solar is a big investment. Don't you want to know about the warranties? This is going to be faster than a hot knife cutting through butter. We don't want you to get bored.
00:32 So, the three main components to any solar warranty is going to be your panels, your inverters, and also whatever the installer adds to the back end of that. So, on panels, normally it's 25 years, but the important part to know about that is that 25 year warranty is only good if that manufacturer is around for 25 years.
00:49 So, we like to get the Power Guard warranty, it's a third-party thing to guarantee that no matter what, our customers have a 25 year warranty. Moving into the converters, usually they're around 10 to 25. We use inverters with a 25 year warranty because we want you to know and be comfortable with the fact that you have 25 years without a problem.
01:06 And then you have your installers warranty, and this usually covers against leaks, the other products as far as the wiring and everything attached to your house. Ours is a 12 year leak free guarantee. Also enveloped with all of the wiring and any other components that are attached to make those solar panels and those inverters work. So be smart, and be knowledgeable and learn all you can about the warranties.
